Wind deflectors & headlight bulbs.

Featured Replies

Im after some wind deflectors for my  212 monte carlo, has anyone fitted hic make, they look like thet stuck to the tops of the door rather than in the window channel like heko.

Also after some brighter headlight bulbs, any recommendations  please?

I have the factory wind deflectors, which are heko, cannot fault them.

Headlights bulbs, all  down to personal choice / experience, some like the Osram Nightbreakers, I have always used Philips extreme power which I think are a vast improvement.

Cheers for the reply, so skoda sell heko deflectors. ?

With regards to the bulbs , are you getting long life out of them, as ive read that some people are only getting 3-4 months out of upgraded bulbs.

Bulbs been in for atleast 3 years..............but thats now tempted fate LOL.............also had them in my Land Rover for probably getting on 7-8 years.

I think the heko ones were factory, was just looking for a part number...

EDIT..........

Brilliant, been a great help .👍👍

I too, like the deflectors. They can be a little fiddly to fit, with the clips and tape and the need to leave the windows shut for 24 hours after firing. Also, you have to shut the windows carefully first time, so as to avoid the anti trap feature from re-opening them. Its a one off thing, they work properly after that.

Funny enough i fitted a set of heko about 2hrs ago. And as you said i did have an issue with the anti trap feature on all the windows. Hopefully when i try them tomorrow  they will be fine.  Cheers.
