vRS Estate Dog Crate/Cage help!

Featured Replies

Hi guys looking for help with the right dog crate/cage. Up until about 4 months ago my Dog went into boot of my car no problem with just a boot guard in. Then all of a sudden he is scared to go near the car and when we lift him in he just keeps jumping out. And as we live in Aberdeen and travel to Edinburgh to visit family we can’t take him because of this.

I know from experience he used to have no problem going in a cage, however now he’s grown his old puppy cage is too small and his 1 we keep him in during the day at home seems like it’s gonna be far too big.
I’m looking for help from people that have got a crate for their Octavia Estate that

1- Is big enough to accommodate my dog ( Black Lab)

2- Will fit comfortably in the boot ( I have the floor which lifts back about half way to Reveal some cheap looking compartments underneath)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get a cage, safer for you, dog and the car. I have had a cage in my cars since 1981. Have a MMG cage at present, which was made for the car. You could try Trystorme, they are in Kinnell, Arbroath, DD11 4UQ. Cage sits within a BootBuddy liner.
