A few days ago my Octavia's AC has stopped working .Don't know it may need gas filling. The light on switch comes on and I checked on the fuses and everything seems to be fine. Also checked in manuals yet not much information. Anyone encountered with such issue? Need solutions.

Have you checked the fuses in the fuse holder on the top of the battery? Mine had one burnt out that knocked out the AC and the cooling fans for the radiator, a joy last summer

Is the outside temperature below 5ºC?
