SE OR SE Tech

Featured Replies

I'm confused about the spec between se  &  se tech I realise the latter comes with sat nav but considering im not impressed with the sat nav in my 2017 Yeti I feel I can do without it but apart from front parking sensors what else / extra, would I not get on the se ?

Many thanks for help and suggestions

SE are designed more for users wanting to buy their car and they have offers from time to time with discounts. The SE Tech is designed more for business users who want to contract hire them. Discounts are rare but not impossible - I got one with a local dealer after price matching a deal I found online. (Still waiting for the car mind)

Ok, Thanks for the replies and views, I've done a bit more research and I think the one I'll go for is the SE L only problem now is what engine to go for my 1.2  2017 Yeti suits me fine so presumably the new 1.0 ltr would be the same? but I wouldn't mind the 1.5 with a bit more oomph !

I was going to go for the 1.5 but after a test drive (which showed up the lack of power problem at a roundabout) and no fix being announced at the time I decided on the 1.0 engine. I have a 1.4 Yeti at the moment and I am sure the 1.0 Karoq will not be as quick but having driven one, I was pleasantly surprised so time will tell.

It was supposed to be built last week but I have not heard from the dealer yet as to whether it was or not, and then it will be about 4 - 5 weeks before I get it so I might get it as an early Christmas present hopefully. If you are undecided, it looks like the latest 1.5 versions are now ok, and I would probably have gone for one if I was ordering today.

extra info

I have a SE spec which suits me just fine and now the last couple of updates have sorted out the hesitation issue I'm glad I went with the 1.5TSI EVO engine, good for overtaking the visiting tourists and plenty of power for climbing some of the steep gradient roads around here.
