After 2+ years and a few hundred pounds spent at garages, including new door handle and door wiring loom , I am still trying to fix our recurring Skoda MK2 alarm issue ☹️

 

Does anyone with VCDS live near Neath S.Wales - trying to get to bottom of this myself and need to readwhat alarm codes logged in central convenience unit.

Hi I have vcds and I live in Port Talbot. I don't have any spare vin licenses but I'm sure I can read fault codes with out one.

I have in the meanwhile bought an Ancel VD500 VAG diagnostic tool, which allowed me to read / clear some error codes. (also changed for wiring loom).. sor for the moment / or until problem recurs I don't need access to VCDS...
