HI All,

I AM NEW TO THIS FORM. I HAVE Skoda laura LNK DEISEL AUTOMATIC MODEL MAKE 2006. Since yesterday I am having issue with the gear. the can suddenly started behaving strange.

when I start the car it is working normal but the movement I switch to the drive mode "D" all the "P R N D S" display started blinking in the car display. I tried to drive the car and found that it looses the power and car is not switching to any other gear except the initial gear i.e "1" even when I tried to reverse the car the is not moving and it feels like I am in neutral position.

 

Could you please suggest what I need to do ?

Sounds like you have gearbox issues. A VCDS autoscan would help if you can do one

Sorry i do not know what Auto Box is fitted to your car and if it is a Tiptronic 6 speed.

Has it had any servicing / oil changes, or is it a gearbox that shows as 'Filled for life' and no Service Schedule?

 

That does not really mean that at 13 year old a Oil change can not be carried out.   You need to find someone that knows about servicing & maintaining a car like yours and that can diagnose the fault with hands on the car.
