Is there anyone in Gloucestershire that can help change my Maxidot computer on my Skoda Yeti from KM to display MPH?

Spend £15 on a Carista OBD11 dongle and do it yourself within the 1st month of included Pro use.
Also there will probably be other modifications you can make to give added things the car could have for extra cost new.

Cannot this be done Vis the car settings on the radio

No I have had a look and can only see settings for the media system & Radio? It’s a Bolero unit & seems to be much older and a less capable media system than in my previous Fabia of the same year? 😩

Thanks I will look into this, sadly I’m not very tech savvy & wouldn’t really know what to do if I had it or where to put the dongle?

Thanks for this, I will look into it but I wouldn’t really know how to do this even if I had one or where to place dongle? Sorry I’m not very tech savvy & was hoping there would be a garage near who could help? 

No, it can’t be done through any on-board settings. It has to be done through intervention via the OBDII port and some appropriate software.

4) Plug the Carista dongle into the OBD port on your Yeti.

 

Crouch down next to the car and lean into the drivers footwell. Look up to the underside of the dashboard and you will see a purple electrical port. This is the 'OBD' - On-board Diagnostic Port.

 

 

5) Open up the App on your smart phone and turn on the cars ignition.

 

6) Follow the on-screen instructions and select the features you'd like to enable, disable or adjust. The interface is very user friendly. No code or bits or bytes, simply text and selectable options.

Perfect, thanks, - that's worth it for disabling the seatbelt ding alone (I drive off road, in and out, opening gates - it's a pain in the butt!)
