stop start operation 

hi fellow user i have a issue regarding the stop/start on my 1.5 sel petrol karoq it since a second update that was done on my by a local Skoda dealer re the kangarooing effect . the start stop has not functioned at all i know there is parameters to it actually working but on the screen in the car there is a section that gives information about the start/ stop system on that it says the cars power consumption is high so i disconnected my dash cam power lead and removed a usb drive which has music on it so there is no additional power being used on the car when driving when driving the and come to a stop a light pops up in the dash which is a circle with the letter A in the middle and a \ through it i think this means the system is active  but the engine does not stop. The dash cam on my car was fitted by a skoda dealer has any suggestions or advice on what to do 

Is your automatic hand brake switch activated next to the handbrake switch, I think that might be your A light on the dash.
