Playing video from my phone on Columbus.

I have several recorded TV shows in .MKV format on an SDXC card which play with no problem on my Columbus.

If I copy these files to my Galaxy S8 the Columbus says I have no playable files. Sometimes I can get to see the files but today when I select USB it just tells me no playable video files.

If I copy the files to my podcast player (Podcast Republic) I can play the audio of the video files through Android Auto on Columbus or video and audio on the phone only.

What am I doing wrong?

I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP. We are currently travelling in France after purchasing our Superb Sportline IV last month. I put the car on charge in Le Chartre-sur-le Loir yesterday, just outside Le Mans, at a bargain public charge price of 30 euro cents per Kw to 90% or 19.61 kWh, and headed off to Angouleme, a circa 200-mile drive. We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti

Hi.... Just a bit of as heads up.... I got in my Superb 1.4 TSi 2018 (50,000 miles) on Friday night and the engine started making an almighty rattling / clattering / knocking noise. When I took it to a local indy garage the next day they said it sounds exactly like another Skoda they had in the previous week. The one they looked at before wasn't a Superb (can't remember which model they said), but it had done similar relatively low mileage and a bolt was loose at the camshaft p
