Just saying Hi.

Hi All

Thought I should follow protocol and introduce myself.

I'm Mark, I've been a bit of a car guy all my life, but never had the money for anything special, but now I can I'm a grandad, tow a caravan and all the other boring stuff life throws at us, so have compromised and got myself a 66 plate Yeti 2.0 TDI Laurin & Klement Outdoor 4WD 150, looking forward to daily ownership.

In the past I made my own Biodiesel (I bet I know a few of you from VOD as there's quite a few on there that run Skodas) but stopped a few years back, so no risk of messing up the euro6 stuff on the Yeti.

Watcha Mark 👋

I'm 5 months into Granddadhood 😎  Bit like you, it's only my last two cars where I've been able to afford something new. My old B5 Passat (pre-PD) would run on almost anything oily.

Hi Gaz

I'm 3 years into Granddadhood and loving it.

My last car was a Audi A4 B5 Avant 1.9 110, my first VAG car and was so impressed with it even at 21 years old it led me to stay with a VAG product.

A warm welcome to the Forum Mark !  Been a grandad 27years and waiting for the first great.  They seem to take their time these days😁
