I currently have a 59 plate 2.0 Tdi 4x4 but now looking into getting a 2016-2017 Yeti 150 4x4.

 

but need to clear something up first I fitted my towbar to my 59 and had to do the complete wiring loom install to the front of the car as it didn’t have towbar prep.

 

But looking at a 2016 Brochure they don’t give towbar prep as an option just a towbar fitted.

 

So my question is do the 16/17 yeti’s have towbar prep as standard or does fitting of a towbar involve ripping the car apart again.

Well I know that a 2015 model needed lots of the trim removing to get the loom through.
I suspect the only way to confirm would be to check the coding sheet stuck to the boot floor.

Check the fuses.  If towbar prep is fitted there will be towing-related fuses on the board.
