Bluetooth Oddity

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

I know this has probably been asked a million times but I'm having such trouble getting my iPhone to connect to the Bolero system. Just to answer the inevitable question - yes I have the display that tells you when a door is open with a little picture of the car with open door on the display. ;)

This is what I'm getting:

When I start the car and after about 2 or three seconds, I get the attached picture on the display. The only way I can get rid of it is to press and hold the "Cancel" button on the steering wheel for a while. This happens EVERY time I start the car.

If, while the display shows the "Enter 7777 8888 9999 0000 in the phone" I switch on Bluetooth on the phone it does NOT see the Bolero and there is NO prompt to enter any code.

it's driving me nuts as I'm absolutely sure the iPhone has worked with this unit before.

Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted, before I pull what little hair I have left out! :D

Cheers

Chris
