Hi all. The panoramic sunroof on my Yeti has decided not to close fully. It closes to around 3/4, but if the knob is turned clockwise again, the roof retracts to around 3/4 of the fully open position. Having read in the manual that there is a way of closing by using an Allen key once the sunglasses case is removed, I tried this. Behind this, my car (2013) looks different to the picture in the manual - it has a black plastic cover. The Allen key will only turn  around a quarter of a turn, and is very stiff. Therefore I was unable to use this method to close the roof.

 As the car sits outside. This is er, a rather concerning problem. All assistance much appreciated. Thank you. Help!🙈

Mine has done this today also. I have purchased a tarp for now!

Mind wont open properly either. It stated to open, but then mad an awful cracking sort of noise and stopped. Now it will not close down properly on one side, instead is closes and then slightly opens again. To date it has worked fine, but I noticed it was leaking earlier in the week, then we've had a few hard frosts. I wonder if there was water around the mechanism which froze and then broke something, so when I when to use it maybe some thing has got dislodged!. I wanted to open it to check the drain wasn't blocked! now I have a worse problem than when I started.

That’s exactly what happened here haha! Been away for a week - leaving Yeti at home. Front passenger AND rear passenger foot wells VERY wet on our return. Thought it was drain pipes (again!), so had roof open. Front near side clear, but then roof wouldn’t close! Had car from new, 8 years come January.

Only point 4. did not work as it should have, press the REVERSE arrow instead of the forward arrow, and cant the knob, and that worked ok.

for posting this, I had an issue with my sunroof closing but not doing the right action at the right button position,tried many other things even been to main stealership,this afternoon victorious following these instructions
