Hi, I am thinking about changing my VW golf R line (high spec) for a Karoq. Can anyone tell me what model I need to buy (petrol) to get heated front seats and adaptive cruise control.

Thanks

Thank you. I find this very surprising in an otherwise well equipped car. I now realise that I can pay for it as an extra.

ACC is standard on the SE Tech (which has its own pricing and specification document, it's not included in the standard Karoq price & spec).

Check the SE- Technology spec, I think you will find it's standard on this model

It's all very weird because SE Tech not listed in UK price list or brochure.

I've only ever looked at SE-L and Edition specs before, but what a weird spec comes with SE Tech. It's the only car that comes with adaptive cruise yes, yet it comes with halogen headlights as standard? That's not very 'tech'.

The website lists the SE from £22240 but then SE Tech is also from £22240  :o    I think I'd be confirming the specs with a dealer first because it doesn't sound right to me.

The SE Tech is mainly aimed at fleet buyers or for business or personal lease, although you definitely can order them as a private buyer. The price and spec is in a separate document which also includes the Octavia SE Tech and the Superb SE Tech, rather than in the main Karoq brochure.

I have heard (no idea how truthful this is) that you are unlikely to get a discount on the SE Tech price, but you can definitely haggle on the price of the SE model. Some dealers may even try to steer you away from the SE Tech altogether.

The spec difference over the SE model seems to be the addition of ACC, front as well as rear parking sensors, Admunsen Sat Nav, and Triton 17" wheels instead of Ratikon. I'm not sure if you lose any other features compared with the SE model.

Thanks, found it now.

Last year I had considered ordering the SE Tech at one point as it had more kit for the same price as the SE but as a private buyer I couldn't get the same discount on it as I did for the SE, I did get the Triton alloys put on the SE as a no cost factory fit option as at the time I didn't like the look of the  Ratikon alloys for some reason or another.

Just contact Skoda UK & ask them to email the SE-Tech spec to confirm the full list  of standard items
