Hello all,

The back left door handle on my fabia has just stopped working.I can open the door from the inside however nothing happens with the outside door handle.Any ideas on how to fix this? What kinda tools are needed? Thanks

Sounds like the cable has come off the handle.

At the end of the door pop out the rubber bung. In there is a T20 torx. Wind this out gently until it stops. Then it you open the handle a touch you can remove the lock blank. Now you can see in the handle. There should be a cable connected to it. if there isnt one there have a fish about through the hole. Pull the cable through and push it back into the handle. Be carefull though if you adjust it to tight the deadlock will latch over and that will be it.
