My Wax just won't shine!!!!

Featured Replies

Looks good mate' date=' decent depth of shine and some nice reflections

Don't know if I'd have left it on that long TBH, wasn't it really hard to remove? With the Meg's Gold Class Wax I use, it's only on for the length of time it takes me to apply it to the whole car....

That's what I've done previously but I've never got a decent finsh that way.

I took the advice of one of the other guys on here who posted about using the same meguiars product and did the same as him.

It wasn't too hard to rmeove tbh.

The bonnet is a mess though - it started raining just after I'd applied to this area so I had to stop. When the rain stopped I just redried the car and carried on but by then the bonnet obviously had soggy wax on it. I didn't know how to salvage it so I just left.

Looks good. Heres mine using Swissol wax and Turtle Wax Top Coat Sealer:

yeh, your's still seems blacker than mine! I'm wondering if my camera is a bit poor at showing the richness of the colour though as I def thought my results looked a little better in reality than they do on camera!

Its the wax. I've tried many over the years and I've never had a shine like this stuff. Its expensive (
