Nice looking car, well priced too, but as a private sale, no warranty - sold as seen, so be careful.

It passed its first MOT too, which is a good sign these days...

The photos look to have been taken in the carpark of a small business premises, suggesting it's a salesman's ex-company car been sold off by the business owner. Another potential good sign...

Another nod to a well cared for car are the expensive premium Michelin tyres, rather than cheap Chinese ditch-finders.

Not for me though, the halogen headlights (a no-no for anyone used to xenon / LED) and missing heated seats (who orders leather as a factory cost option and doesn't also tick the bum warming button?) would see me saving up for a few more months and waiting for an SE L.

I would look for a 2.0, the 1.6 is a tax break special and doesn't like being loaded up.

Quite agree with IJWS15.

When I was looking for an estate I didn't even consider the 1.6.

Judging by different threads on here it's a much more troublesome engine than the 2.0, & very little in it on fuel consumption.

FSH Main Dealer, well maintained needs checked.

So what was done at this last Service.

Was the Brake Fluid Changed, was the Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Pollen Filter or anything else or it is a Oil & Filter change and look see service.

Get the FSH showing when and where and if any Warranty Work or service campaign recall actions required.

Look at the discs, the wiper blades, the tyres, the windscreen and see if you are paying for replacements very soon.
