I'm trying to find the fitted location of the reversing/parking buzzer on my wife's MK1 Fabia. I have already purchased the replacement however, after several tries I have failed to find the old one.

First off, I thought it was in the door pillar but, I have checked on both sides to no avail.

If anyone can help me that would be super..Thanks

Parts catalogue shows it in the B-pillar.

That schematic looks like a MkI Octavia rather than the Fabia?

It suggests the buzzer is mounted above the headlining near the high level brake light.

True, and not all Octies have a reversing buzzer.

Thanks all for the replies. TMB. Even when I asked a VW dealer he slap said it was in the door pillar, but I have checked more than once and followed the cable looms and there is not buzzer in either sides door pillar>

Near the interior light looks favourite. I found the same in an official PDF about the electrical system.

YES. 

So the good news is I found it. Hidden up inside the roof lining> I needed to remove the front interior light cluster and hey voila there it was. See Photo.

 

So now when I go into reverse it beeps, which it did't before, but the sensors are not working. Tomorrow I will plugin VCDS and see what's wrong.

 

 

oh, forgot to say, as you can see it was stuck to the inner roof with a square of velcro.

Yeah must be an error in the catalogue. I thought it was a Fabia saloon they were showing for some reason but must be an Octy.
