Hi all, I’m a newbie! I’m not on here to vent but ..... just had a £1300 quote for a replacement leaking coolant pump & thermostatic housing! The car has only covered 22k. I’ve had two Octavias Mk 2’s “solid cars” before this nightmare. Anyone else had coolant failures to this extent? 

Not me personally but I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't another thread on this site about it....good luck!
