Ticking noise in my fabia any help??

Featured Replies

So i had a high lift cam fitted to my fabia, with new lifters bearings and a seal, also new timingbelt kit. Took the car for mapping and the tortion value was out by 7 so after getting it set back to 0 the car has started ticking not on idle but when i rev the car, checked the oil it was on minimum(not good i know) filled it up took it for a good drive but its still making a ticking noise, only really does it after i thrash the car abit. Any edvice on what i could do anything i can put in to clean the lifters out etc.. thanks

1) Stop covering up the mods you've done.

2) When we give you advice we're helping, not winding you up.

3) Oil and filter change using a recommended VAG 500 series oil.

4) Warm the engine through before revving it.

5) Let it cool off before switching it off. A couple of minutes at a 30mph limit are enough.
