P0183 Fuel Temp Sensor Location

Featured Replies

Hi folks

Had the orange engine light come on constant this morning. Used carista to scan and came up with P0183 Fuel Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit High.

Engine runs perfectly, smooth, quiet, powerful.

Only thing it ever does, is sometimes takes 5/6 seconds to start. No pattern to it, hot or cold. Left or restarted straight away.

Question is, where is this Sensor ?

I'm handy enough DIY but lack of knowledge of location is my problem.

Also if any other suggestion of there may be other causes.

It is in the supply line to the tandem fuel pump on the right hand side of the cylinder head (as you look at the engine). It's held into the fuel pipe with a horseshoe type clip.
