Keyless, one touch windows, LEDs and more, mod help

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I tried my best to go through the forum but wasn't able to find help for everything I want to do with my Fabia.

I have a 2019 Skoda Fabia III with the 1.0 110 bhp engine.

Although it's quite a good car and there are some things I like about it, there are some mods I want to do, and was wondering if someone here has done these before or can give me an idea where to look.

1.I have keyless start in my car with the button on the steering column, but after driving around a Polo GTi and a few other cars I really wish I had the keyless entry possibility on my car, I was wondering if it's even possible to upgrade to have keyless access along with the keyless start, I know I'd probably have to change some modules, and the door handles, but is it even possible, and has it been done before?

2.Folding mirrors, this one should be pretty easy, and I know of some aftermarket companies that do this, but is there an OEM option to have automatic electric folding mirrors upon opening and closing the car?

3.LED headlights, again I know you can modify the headlights with a kit, but I was wondering whether it's possible to get the factory Bi-Led headlights installed in the car, or should I just modify what I have now?

4.One of the most annoying things with the Fabia are the windows which need to be manually opened and closed, without the option to press the button once and have them fully open or close, my previous car had it, the Polo has it, even my mom's Abarth has it, and switching back to the Fabia without this feature is always annoying. Is there a way to upgrade this?

5.Finally, less of a mod, but are there any summer tyre suggestions for the standard 15 inch rims? The stock ones aren't terrible but I personally believe a good tyre is extremely important and can be the difference between an accident and stopping in time. I've done some research myself but I've mostly found I'd have to get some bigger wheels to get proper tyres on there.

Thanks in advance.

I heard that's a thing if all 4 windows are electric, only my front ones are, and so I didn't get one touch. As a side note, it's a joke that's not a standard feature, a 2002 A3 has it but not a modern car.

Mine only has front electric windows, rear doors are 'keep fit' wind down ones.

Paying extra for wind up rear windows is like the Chippy charging extra for salt & vinegar on your chips IMO.

I think it's just the driver's side that is one touch, rest are normal? 🤔 Unless the later models are all

My passenger side is one touch too.

None of them are, and it's really annoying when I need to use a card to get in somewhere

Checked mine today, switch for drivers window is the only one with two click stages. All the others, driver's door controls or on each door are single click no one touch. My rear windows were a bit odd today though, both took a few tries before they actually worked. Have been fine since 🤔
