Has anyone had any problems fitting a towbar  on a Karoq with  towbar prep, thanks

Sorry about the late reply - just seen this thread.

 

I have the same car as you, with tow bar prep. After much toing and froing with my dealer, I established from Skoda UK that tow bar prep includes some wiring mods as well as the cooling requirements. This last bit was unknown to my dealer who fitted such parts and then had to refund me the cost (about £500). Don't let them make you pay twice. 

 

Other than that I had fitted the swivel Skoda tow bar and it all works very well.
