Recirculation button.

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

The problem is that the recirculation button keeps coming on and staying on even when the air con is working. When the recirculation button is pressed to turn it off I can hear a light vibration noise as if something is rotating with something rubbing against it.

Does anyone have any ideas, I don't use it very much to hardly ever. If it is a expensive problem over the amount I use it would it be best to just remove the fuse?

The car is a 2004 fabia estate 1.9 tdi .

Many thanks for any help.

John.

It sounds like the stepper motor gearing has failed or the flap has stuck. Take a look at it in the spring.
