Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that have contributed to any of my Threads or Helped me with anything since I joined in 2008.

I recently sold my Fabia VRS which was well documented on here and bought a replacement Car, I very nearly didn't make a Thread for its replacement as its a Non Skoda but in the end I decided to to go ahead and make a Thread. The Thread was sadly spoiled by 3 very unhelpful posts from a certain Member slagging the Car off and stating I had made a backwards step which to be honest immediately made me regret putting the effort into the Thread in the first place.

I am not One for throwing my Toys out of the pram but this is not the first time I have had to contact Moderators to delete posts on other Threads but this time I decided to just get the Thread removed which I admit spoils it for everyone else, So I apologise for that! However I was not going to rise to the bait and get into a conversation with said Member.

I used to frequent on about 15 Owners Clubs/Forums with Detailed Threads and progress of my Cars regardless of Brand or even if its relevant to that particular Club but in the past Year I only really post on here and a few others and to be honest I cant be bothered to put the effort in anymore to be ridiculed by some people.

 

So Goodbye to all the decent Members on here which there are many, To the few that spoil it....I have nothing to say.

 

I think you have taken it a bit far, opinions are like bumholes everyone has one, and if you cannot take the rough with the smooth then i would agree maybe the interweb and opinions are maybe not for you.

 

i have posted in your fabia thread many times complimenting the care and standard that your old fabia was at, like i said rough with the smooth.

 

the fact you have reacted this way gives me the impression you already doubt the purchase of said new car, just a thought

Shame you’re going. I’ve not followed your Fabia thread but have enjoyed your contributions to the Biker section.. Enjoy your new car, sod whatever anyone else thinks and hope the current bike is a keeper.
