Can anyone tell me where the OBD2 port is in the Kodiaq. There is a port near the accelerator pedal but this is rectangular.

Sorry, just found it. Purple socket near footwell light under steering wheel area.

It's in the same area as you're looking, but you need to get yourself down lower and look upwards to see it. 

It's right beside the light that shines down into your footwell and is purple in colour. I made the same mistake as you when I first searched for it.

They're always within a few inches of each other across the VAG family.

 

As you've discovered, somewhere above the drivers feet...
