2020 & 21: Warm & Hot Hatch car videos thread.

2020 Models and 2021 models as they are revealed as the year goes on please.

(If they are a Saloon with a boot they are not a Hatchback.)

Another good vid from a Briskoda member of a car at a show.

Quite like the look of this compared to the M135i hatch.

A warm hatch that is more show than go.

But available with 130ps in manual or 8 speed auto.

Interesting comment from the Boss of Peugeot when asked about the new 208 he said that owners in Paris would buy the EV version, owners that covered 100,000km per year would pick the diesel version and everyone else would probably choose a petrol version of the same car. He was having a pop at Renault for offering petrol/diesel Clio's and a separate EV Zoe.:hi:

Anyone doing 60,000 miles a year would not be doing it in one of those, unless they were given it for free.

They would want the seats with massage function, but you would still not get adjustable lumber support.

Bob summed it up nicely by saying Ford are not going to sell many Focus ST's in Ireland at 44,000 Euro's like the test car and when he said you'll leave everyone at the traffic light grand prix he's never driven a Superb 4 x 4 either. This was after saying the Ford was trying to spin it's front wheels in 3rd at 90kph. That'll be the torque steer/lack of grip Bob.:D

Typical Matt never a fair drag comparison.

It matters not if Thomas calls a boot / truck lid a hatch, it is not a hatch back just a Coupe roofed Saloon.

The Ski Hatch is there in the rear seats.

A Volvo S60 is similar.

Is that "Thomas", because he looks nothing like a gran anyway! ;)

Looks like Golf Mk8 fans will get to see GTD version with around 200bhp, new GTi with 242bhp and Golf R with 328bhp at next month's Geneva Motor Show with them going on sale in Europe in the summer. The UK was VW's largest market for the Golf R with 5,317 sold last year despite being on sale for 5 years (since 2014).

George, but will Thomas like it ??

A warm hatch.

It will go further giving you fun for longer when the weather is warmer.  Pity no Electric Mini Clubman / Clubvan.  'Yet'.
