2009 octavia head unit replacement

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I just bought a 2009 Octavia 2.0TDI 4x4 wagon.

It has the standard Bolero Head Unit which actually sounds pretty good but lacks any Bluetooth.

Ideally I would like to be able to connect my phone for streaming music and making calls. I understand that there might be a Bluetooth module I can buy to add Bluetooth to this unit?

I also have a friend that is selling a head unit from a VW Amarok (part number 5K0035190A), would this unit fit my octavia and retain steering wheel controls etc? I like the stock look.

Thanks.

Ive just removed a columbus sat nav unit and the associated mdi bluetooth unit and all the cables from a fl octy pm if interested. Also have the maxidot and mfsw as well as a seperate bt and mdi unit that i never used.
