Front Assist Not Available

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

After I went to the dealer, they did a Front Assist software update to my 2016 MKIII Superb. The Front Assist was working but, sometime, it would trigger for no apparent reason. That is why they performed the update.

However, immediately after the update, the Front Assist stopped working and now, everytime I start the car and drive, the following message appears in the Maxi Dot: "Front Assist not available".

Did anyone experience this problem? My Superb only has Front Assist, not ACC.

Thank you.

Sorry to hear. Frustrating. Did it work as you left the forecourt or were they all running to leave at the same time.

As soon as I left the shop, the message appeared.

When I got home, I took a picture to the radar in order to understand if it was something loose. I put the camera between the grill gaps and I found this (looks like a spider and a spider net).

Do you think this may be the cause?

Interesting ! I guess it could be.
