What fuse are the front fogs on , pre fl car

Featured Replies

as  above what fuse are the front fogs  on , cannot find 'em in the fuse lists

I'm not sure there is a dedicated fuse for the front fogs, pretty sure it'll be shared fuse(s) with other lighting functions.

If it's only the front fogs that aren't working, it might be a switch issue?

Front fogs are wired directly to the BCM

Is anything else not working?

BCM ?

As far as I can tell everything else works, the daylights work, the reverse light works, when I find my tools I'll split the switch and look at the circuit board(previous probs, I increased the track solder) Tried another switch, same situation, I suppose it could be the loom and mice, but no VCDS errors reported which last time I had the problem, there was an error reported ie burnt out pcb track.

Body Control Module - the module control of various things including the external lighting including front fog lights.

If you have access to VCDS, you can use the measuring blocks to confirm if the front fog position on the switch works and there is probably an output test for the front fog lamps too.

Solved  ---  Combination of probs, battery voltage down, track on pcb burnt out, recharged battery, and installed a jump piece all now working again   --  I hope, French MOT next week!
