Hi folks 

 

Looking to upgrade my current screen in car to 8 inch Columbus 

It will be just the screen I’m replacing but may have component lock 

Any where I can go to have removed if that’s the case

Screens don’t have CP lock, they are just a slave to the radio. If you have a MIB2, this is a plug and play upgrade. With a MIB1 you will have to change the radio unit to a MIB2 and that will come with CP lock, feature reactivation issues etc.

You can pick up the removal tools on ebay, I used the ones linked below
