Hi,

I am looking for some advice on an intermittent electrical fault.

I recently bought a nice 2003 Fabia 1.2. It runs very well, it's tropically wet inside ( summer will ease that) but the indicators, wipers, hazards and heated rear window don't work.

The battery is charged, the fuses are ok and after a little drive they work for a minute but then don't again.

Is there anything I can do to fix and if I need a mechanic do I go to a Skoda garage?

You need to dry the car out, use a dehumidifier and borrow a garage if possible. This autumn/winter has been incredibly wet here in the UK, the wettest I can remember in a very long time.
