wind deflectors for Skoda citing Gtec

Featured Replies

anyone know if Skoda Dealers supply and fit wind deflectors.

I have used Heko wind deflectors in the past and all good but when I bought some for my Citigo they would not stay in.

Checked Skoda sites and cannot find anything in accessories

I bought some Climair deflectors from Euro Car Parts. Perfect fit, and stayed in place

Hi Thanks for letting me know about deflectors. I had a look at climair in Euro Car parts and these do not come with any clips or sticky tape. Did you use yours in a Citigo.  Also they say on site their is 2 choices and I need to pick the correct one but I cannot see any difference.

many thanks

Hi I have just checked Climair UK site and it does not have the deflectors for a Citigo which is strange as Euro Car parts do?

Definitely Climair from ECP that I fitted. They don't need clips, can't remember if they came with a bit of sticky tape already attached or not.

I seem to remember having the same problem with the ECP website. I think I had to google the Climair part number to check which were the right ones.

I fitted them to a 5 door Citigo.

Looks like the one with product code ending "111" is for a 3-door, and "121" is for 5-door, but please double-check before ordering

Hi

Thank you and will give these a go a little more expensive than the Heko but looked on website that tested three wind deflectors and the Climair came on on top so will buy these and will let you know how I get on and thank you for your help. I just did not want to pay out again for something that does not work. Just on a note out of test that this website carried out the other 2 they compared to where good on all tests all but the final test is that the other 2 are not apparently covered by some quality if they fly off your car you are not covered but Climair are.

Hi

Thanks I have found that code as well now so once again thank you.

I went with Climair because I'd used them before on a Ford Galaxy with no problems. Very sturdy, so no real chance on them falling off.

Might be fine, but just because they work on a Galaxy is not a good comparison, as the external seal at the top of a Citigo door (at least on my 2019 3-door) is quite unlike most other cars. It may inhibit how a deflector mounts...

Hi

Thank you for your reply and noted but did check it out and for the Citigo their are 2 sizes one for 3 door and one for 5 door but will update the forum when I get them for my Citigo 5door.

  • 3 weeks later...

I have Heko ones on my 2019 3 door and they are spot on 👌

Hi I did have Heko as I have had them before for other cars however the ones I bought for my 5 door kept falling out. so I purchased Climair as suggested by other person on this forum and they are great and look great also. They are a little more expensive and I am very pleased with them.

Do you have any pictures of them fitted? Would be keen to see how they look.
