Flickering headlight

Featured Replies

As title, the Karoq appears to be developing a flickering headlight. It's my wife's car and she mentioned it in the past and I've pretty much dismissed it until tonight.

We were popping out and took her car, me driving, about 5 seconds into the journey I noticed flickering reflecting off a parked car opposite our driveway. It lasted about 2 seconds, not even long enough to determine which light which isn't helpful......

Anyone else experienced something similar?

Had the car two years with no issues, still under warranty which I'll be extending as I'd imagine parts like the headlights won't be cheap.

Cheers

A Karoq Edition has the LED headlights, rather than halogen.

A common perceived issue with the brighter LED headlights, especially at this time of year is droplets of water running over the headlight.

This creates the impression that the LED itself is flickering, but it is merely the water droplet altering the beam direction / light output temporarily as it runs down the face of the headlight.

Could it be this?

Sadly not, it was bone dry but thanks for the response.
