DSG Oil Leak ?

Featured Replies

Anybody had a oil leak on their DSG

Mine had its 3rd service last week & they've noticed a leak on the back of the DSG, they think it might be just a seal.

Dunno does the DQ381 have any history of being a bit leaky ?

vRS245 MY18 with 27-1/2k miles lightly tuned, often ragged but, never from cold

TIA

False alarm, after a clean up of the affected area and a quick 30 minute drive, no new oil leakage. The Master Tech believes some high temperature/pressure (due to excessive exuberance) may have cause a slight weep.

Really?   That is hopeful thinking.

Is there to be 'Exuberant driving no more'? Never a wee thrash up to 70 mph. Never a run on a Dyno.

#No nay never, no nay never no more.

At least you will have the issue logged while the car is under warranty.
