Power cut engine / gearbox

Featured Replies

Hi,

Need some help with my Skoda Octavia RS 2.0 TDI DSG.

Some times when i drive my car, it is just for a second maybe two, it feels like a "power cut" and then the car is normal again. I contacted Skoda in Norway, but they could not find anything wrong.

It feels like no response when I have my foot on the throttle, as I sad it´s only fore a second/two.

Is there anyone how had a similar problem before?

Sorry for my english :-(

Hi, I'm having similar problems, but mine brings on the engine management light.  This is the fault code I'm getting, sorry for the size.  While driving it also sort of stutters, more so on motorway driving, which also suggests to me it could be the throttle pedal, as its a potentiometer that measures the amount of throttle opening. As the throttle is opened, the reading (measured in volts) goes up.    And by the way mine a DSG.

I can either clear the fault or if I just leave it it goes off.  I'm at the point of buying a throttle pedal to try it as there not all that expensive.  However, heres some useful link for others to read and see what they think.  https://www.obd-codes.com/p0121  IMG_3770.thumb.JPG.3f7a4684261d91a99d9d3625eade8c6f.JPG
