Fuel gauge reading zero

Featured Replies

Woke up yesterday to fuel gauge reading zero in my 09/16 2.0tdi yeti. Was working fine the day before, but isn’t now. Still not rectified itself today, even after putting fuel in. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem on one car back in the early 1980s. The fuel level sender had failed and needed replaced.

Try parking on a steep hill/ramp (both up and down), stop the engine, start the engine. See if any difference.

Don't sleep in the car.

I'd say "software glitch" then. First reset is to turn it off and back on.

markbo06, There is a Ti on the Yeti fuel gauge.

My '17 reg SE had this problem a couple of times.

Just had them sort it out, or so they say its done.

So its a know fault, try get your local dealer to sort it under Warranty.
