LED rear lights

Featured Replies

Hi, I’ve just ordered a MY 20 colour edition and want to pug the Monte Carlo LED rear lights in, is this a simple swap or is there wiring changes needed and bcm coding required for light clusters,

iv orders the lights as well as the pedal rubbers.
thanks

Always best to spec what you require, not try and retro fit after. Should of gone for the MC, why we did.

Should of added. Start messing around and you will void your warranty.

Not sure how much will apply, but some info here:

If you go to a skoda service centre they will tell you that if you have not got LED lights already, you will need a complete new wiring loom to go with the led light clusters.

You can however, rewire the connector plug for the light cluster and use vcds to code the lights.

My local dealer has quoted £122 per led cluster, I'm not sure how much it costs for the wiring loom too.

Im probably going to do the retrofit during the summer when the weather warms up.

There is a guide on this forum which is linked in the previous reply, and another guide on a german forum:
