Thanks in advance .The cruise control on my 2014 Octavia Vrs 2.0D Dsg has just stopped working .What I know so far is the switch on the indicator stork has stopped working and the green circle is no longer coming upon in the maxi dot display. Anything thing I should check first before I dive in .

Are you talking about the Set/Reset not working, or the ON/Off switch? I ask because, believe it or not, a few weeks ago I noticed that the set/reset switch for the cruise control on my 2018 combi was not working, nor was the green indicator coming on. Guess what the cause was? That morning, I had given the interior a thorough clean and had inadvertently switched off the cruise control via the ON/OFF switch on the stalk. I know it sounds stupid and basic, but you never know 😉

Thanks the switch on the stork has stopped working the maxi dot display doesn't change when operated like it should.

@mase101 there were software problems on 2013 and 2014 with dsg and CCS. Update of the control untis mostly solve the problem.
