Stereo Help

Featured Replies

Have got the old aftermarket double din stereo out from my VRS I got at the weekend, as it was a horrendous set up and badly fitted.

I've attached some pictures up of what I found behind. Anybody know if the second picture down was where the antenna connector was originally placed, but seems to have been cut and taped for some weird reason?

Am looking to fit a fascia kit and get my single din stereo fitted ASAP. Anybody know if the wiring looks OK to go ahead with, other than the antenna connector which I need to find a link for to buy and fit? Also a link for the fascia kit itself?

The aerial wire has definitely been cut. Here's a link to both types of repair connector, depending on which head unit you are fitting.

The Blue/White wire looks to have been cut also and will need soldering/crimping back together.

There is a tray that goes under the stereo and here's a link to that too.

I have sent you a DM regarding your other post about the wiper motor and I do have a tray for under the radio too if your interested?
