Recommended Discs and pads.

Featured Replies

HI,

I have searched for what has been the overall best front Discs and Pads for a fabia 2004 1.9tdi estate and so I am asking as to what the answer is?

The reason being that the front ones which will soon need replacing after the original manufacturer's ones after 90,00 miles that is pads and discs.

I did not want to write this as I hought it had been asked to often.

Many thanks for any help.

My recommendation is Pagid.

Mine is Brembo, in my opinion the PD100 is under braked, it's just as front heavy as the VRS but has to make do with the same discs as the 1.4 16V petrol which is a much lighter car, I had Brembo Max discs on mine and while pad life wasn't great the brakes were noticeably sharper.

And I'd say Pagid or Brembo, either of which might be OEM on a specific car.
