This forum doesn't seem very busy but on the off chance.

Hijust bought a 11 Skoda Octavia. It's got a bolero in it. I wonder if there might be someone to fit and code a radio if I were to upgrade to a Columbus or something?

There isn't a pile needed to do to change them. You need a new centre console surround as the RNS510 (Columbus) is a different shape and should be buying one supplied with it's code to put in when first powered up. The surround just pulls off from the bottom above ash tray, then it's 4 screws around the existing head unit. 

Also check out the current android units available you can get ones the same shape and look as your Bolero but that can do so much more, or go full on bit screen goodness generally for less than a Columbus. Like in this thread:
