Hey guys new to the forum! Just need abit I’d advise as no one seems to get it. I’ve got a 2007 fabia Vrs mk1, and it won’t start. The fuel pump wasn’t working so I changed it, still no luck! Car won’t fire up, it just keeps cranking and also the glow plug light constantly flashes. Any help/advise would be helpful, go easy as I’m new to this, Lol. I’ve changed injector wiring loom too but still no luck.

Does the fuel pump make the priming noise when you turn the IGN on? I'm wondering if the fuel pump relay has thrown the towel in.

Try the fuel pump relay if it's not priming, you should hear it run as soon as you open the drivers door.

SNAP!

Thanks a lot guys. But I’ve changed relay and pump, still no luck. I can’t figure this out. Thankyou for the idea tho. Open to more advise as I’m sat here confused!’

The pump isn’t even working and it’s a new one I got. Any electrical checks I should do?

Flashing glow plug light suggests a major electronic fault, you need to get the codes read.

I got this, but the other 2 fault codes above that have been sorted. Just the “activation of pump” I need help with

Have you checked the fuses, if the original fuel pump failed it may well have blown a fuse, can you hear the relay clicking?

Thankyou guys, gave it to the garage it was a major electrical fault behind relay circuit. It’s fixed now tho so happy days! Car runs a lot smoother.
