I'm looking to tinker on my octavia 1u. Looking for ideas/ inspiration. 

Had a yellow 1.8T MK1 vRS Octavia many years ago and a custom remap only took power from 177bhp to 230bhp and torque from 173lb/ft to 230lb/ft which today would cost around £500 and one of the better value mods you can do.

Mine so far has

 

ko4 turbo
cold air intake
front mount
Brembo brakes
KW V1 coil overs
unrated anti roll bars with poly bushes
VRS cluster
Toledo V5 seats
Full VRS body kit
DIY star lights headliner
Few more on going mods such as headlights/ taillights/ door cards.
