P10AD00 Magnetic clutch for mechanical charger open circuit fault code.

Hi all wondered if any of you may be able to help me. I ran through some water on the way home silly me now my 2011 1.4 tsi fabia threw

up four codes. I wiped them but this code persists can anybody help. I tried to download a pdf manual but after paying it did not download, I got a refund though. So now I have no idea where to look for this sensor, does anybody have any idea please. I assume it has shorted out and needs replacing. So I hope that somebody may be able to shed some light. I expect the other codes to come back but after speaking to a dealer whom wants to replace the whole loom and I have my doubts I tho

It could be some corroded wires to the sensor, had some sensor faults myself in the past but not this one

Magnetic clutch is built into the water pump, Common to go on these...Unfortunately you'll need to buy the full water pump, OEM will cost you £130, Aftermarket will cost you £60'ish. Ive had an aftermarket pump on mine for over 2 years with no problems.
