Picked up my new Kamiq 1.0 SE two weeks ago - basically it's just sitting on the drive due to Covid-19 😉

 

Skoda history:

1. Citigo SE
2. Fabia Estate SE 
3. 2nd Fabia Estate SE
4. Kamiq

 

Dealership was Barlow Motors, Stoke-on-Trent - good guys.

 

Originally bought under an offer for deliver before end Feb 2020 (69 reg) but the virus screwed up delivery times so ended with a Mar 2020 (20 reg) with the original deal honoured.

Congrats on your new Kamiq, they have been catching my eye recently too, just a shame you cant drive it with the dreaded Covid 19. Ive had dealings with Barlow motors myself in the past albeit when the dealership was Robert Eardley Skoda. 

 

I honestly could not fault the guys there they were great and spot on, I had a Fabia SEL TDI from them in 2015 and i will without doubt revisit them in the not too distant future hopefully when the time comes to vehicle swap again. 

 

Shall you be using Barlow Motors for Mot and servicing when time comes?  as honestly i would recommend them as previously mentioned.

Hi Ash,

Always had good service from Skoda dealers. My first 2 cars were bought in Swindon, Wiltshire and that dealership was just as good.

Liking the Kamiq so far (not that I've used it much yet!) - the only thing is the boot size is much smaller than in my Fabia Estates but I knew that when I ordered it.

Are you going to change motors soon given yours is now 5 years old!

its a great shame that you haven't really had chance to use your Kamiq, dreaded covid 19. Im the same with my golf haven't driven that since beginning of this week. 

 

im suprised about boot space on the Kamiq being smaller than a fabia estate, just shows how practical the little fabia can be, makes me think that maybe i should of gone for a fabia estate instead of the hatch, 

 

regarding my motors no im not due to change my golf for another two years yet as i ended the lease with my fabia early  (early2016) only had it just shy of 10 months into a 3 year deal this was in 2016, had a ford bmax from 2016 till 2019 thats when that got change for my current golf sv, shall be keeping my golf until april may time 2022.
