Errrr i think i need ur assistance ! Because of the strange life we facing all this social distancing mask wearing etc .i have a big big problem my skoda rapid cannot start with the brake pedal ,my car is auto TSi stop/start but now its stop stop so im wondering if you guys are feeling bored at home spend sometime to help me with this big problem ,im one of those guys that is easy to get stressed over the smallest thing ,ohh by the way i hope its gonna be cheap lack of money is everyones problem these days .

Could be as simple as tightening the battery terminals. We had a 1.2TSi manual rapid and one day sat at some traffic lights put it in neutral and stop/start cuts the engine as expected. Press the clutch pedal when lights go green and nothing. Finally got it to the dealer and they said if you go over a lot of speed bumps the battery can move slightly eventually loosening the battery terminals. By nipping them tight the problem didn't happen again and it costs nothing to fix and you should try this first.:nerd:

Thankyou for your reply .well to be honest i borrowed a battery charger to charge my battery its 100% fully charged battery leads are tight .my car usually would start with just pressing the brake pedal and the brake pedal would normally feel soft once turned the ignition on .the last time i used my car was last sunday afternoon i went shopping when i got home i parked near my home to drop off shopping then tried to re-start the car to move it to my resident parking bay but sadly wouldnt start .

Hello everyone ,now i know its hard times out there so im willing help someone out who lives close to me now ive come to a point where i need someone to diagnose my car so that im able cure my mental stress but this has to be someone with a ecu or any other unit to plug into my car computer dont be to scarred ive purchased a mask and im good at social distancing ive done it all my life thats why i never had friends i guess !,

Daft question but when you press the brake pedal do the brake lihgts come on?  My dad had a similar problem a few years ago with a vw polo and it turned out to be a faulty brake pedal switch.
