Locking wheel bolts

Featured Replies

Seeing as there's quite a lot of people off with nothing much to do at the moment, I need your help.

I've just bought some wheels and need a set of locking bolts.  I'm looking for 60 degree tapered M14 x 1.5 x 35 or 37mm with a 17mm hex.  I can find some shonky sets on ebay for about £12 but they aren't much use in terms of security.  What I'm after is something decent such as Mcgard but can't seem to find any.  Just when I think I've cracked it, they turn out to be a raduis seat and not the tapered I need.

If you have a spare few minutes, see what you can find as I have spent a bit of time on this and either my Googling skills have slipped or I'm looking for something that doesn't exist.

Just to add a bit of difficulty to the search, if they could be black that would be even better.

Thanks,

Andrew.

edit: They are to protect these wheels.

Found some 39mm long ones you could probably cut to correct length

Thanks for that.  I'll probably go down that route as the rears need 40mm and the fronts 35mm.  👍
