Due a 70k service On my cr170

due to my turbo failing 12 months ago and ended up having a minor service as part of the repair. I’m looking at having it done now at 70

 

problem is the little independent garage next to my works have estimated £850 for a service including the belt and water pump, 

 

im sure the dealers generic sales info that was posted last year was £500 and another £100 Ish for the pump.

 

Is £850 way off the mark, all the searches I’ve read are years old

Skoda fixed price servicing is £549 for the cambelt and water pump with the added luxury of 2 year warranty for it. Servicing is also listed on the site depending what you need. The local seems to be charging quite a lot in comparison, depends what parts are being replaced on your service is the only true way of comparing prices.
