Morning folks, picked up my 20 plate 1.5 Sporline in Meteor Grey back at the start of March I've done some modifications on previous VAG cars with my VAGCOM bit its out of date to work on the Karoq sadly.

 

Carista seemed like a quick access solution and cheap too my question is, I've turn on Dip Mirror in reverse function but it wont work at all can anyone shed some light on a reason why ? 

 

The car has no option on it at all. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No it ain't mate as this has been selected within the menu and still doesn't no function as advertised, but thanks..........

Have you moved the knob to the ‘left mirror adjustment' position?

Yeah the dial is set to the passenger mirror I have also tried it in all positions but still nothing ? 

 

Anyone with a sportline manage to get this to function? 

I would say it’s an issue with the Carista coding then (wouldn’t be the first time).

 

Never had an issue with using VCDS to do this, even on some cars with manual seats (electric seats is supposed to be a requirement)

I was on the understanding this option could only be enabled if the car already has electrically adjustable front seats?

 

Something to do with it having a different module capable of accepting the changes.

I had read this in my googling prior to joining but seen a few articles saying otherwise, I was hoping another Sportline Karoq owner may have attempted this and may have it working without the need of the electric seat option and module.

 

I'm just wondering if it something I would need to use VAGCOM to sort other than a £20 OBD adapter and mobile app 

Emailed Carista a while ago and got a reply in regards to this tweak, as someone mentioned you need to have power seats for it to function something that isn't mentioned on Caristas available tweak options for the Karoq.
